The Castillion - The Fall of the Son will be released on July 10, 2026
Juan Atrevido del Castillo (1477 - )
A conquistador under Hernán Cortés, Juan Atrevido del Castillo is the original Castillion. He sails with the other Spanish conquistadors in 1519 and helps conquer the Aztec Empire. After the death of Moctezuma II, the Castillion has a revelation while inside an Aztec pyramid. Surrounded by magical codices, sacrificial blood, and thousands of human hearts the Castillion realizes he was chosen to unite the magical systems of his Gods and the Aztec Gods to create The Black Rite. Cuitláhuac is now Aztec King, and the Castillion offers him a deal. Death and destruction are coming for his city and his people, but he can save them both by making the ultimate sacrifice. Cuitláhuac agrees. The Castillion publicly sacrifices Cuitláhuac and eats his heart, uniting the magical systems of the two worlds, and performing The Black Rite for the first time.
Now possessing the knowledge to obtain immortality, the Castillion hastily returns to Spain and forms a plan to use The Black Rite and achieve world domination. Over the next 500 years the Castillion offers the secret of the Black Rite in exchange for wealth, power, and influence. He creates a pyramid of power known as the Reborn Few with the Castillion at the top.
