The Castillion - The Fall of the Son will be released on July 10, 2026

1. Fifth Sun

The ritual begins
Our Queen was told by God
That gold is waiting
The gold is old and for the taking

The blessing
Every mother and child
Gives blood to the cross
Every ship sanctified
Every wave gives way

The nails crucify the thieves
Who hold what is ours and God’s
The gold is old and ours for the taking
The ritual takes flight
God gave us a light to deceive the animals that believe
We’re the Gods of retribution
The fifth sun confirmed that conclusion

We pray to the Gods of old every night
The feast lies ahead
The ritual takes flight
Always the next one, never this one

Oh Gods, what have you done?
What am I?
What am I to you?
God gave us a light to deceive the animals to believe
We’re Gods of retribution
The fifth sun confirmed that conclusion

I know how the Gods must feel about us
‘Cause that’s how I feel about you

Prologue (1519 - 1521)

The original Castillion, Juan Atrevido del Castillo, sails with Hernán Cortés and the other Spanish conquistadors to modern day Mexico in search of gold and riches.  Finding little, the Spaniards conquer the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan and try to convert the people to their religion.  Meanwhile, the Castillion secretly makes a deal with the Aztec emperor Cuitláhuac to combine the Gods-given magic of their individual deities in exchange for the protection of Tenochtitlan and the old way of life.  He agrees.  The Black Rite is performed for the first time granting the Castillion a form of immortality.

2. Pillars

Such a formal place
Could never tame the beast
Even the girls are choking on their neck ties
I can’t even fix a feeling
Ten seconds ago
The halls are filled with pictures and fixtures and pillars
Of communities a thousand years old

What is it you want young man?
Well I wanted to tug on the tie of the girl in my eye
And the skirt, and the thigh

But no
She sees where I come from
Why isn’t that enough?
The need to fix and straighten
The ties that bind until I find the one
Who will say
Yes daddy take me away
The pain says I’m okay

The boredom of being the chosen one
As I pop another one
Like a pimple on my chin and begin
To believe that such a formal place
Could never ever tame the beast

The bloodline that defines
The bloodline that divides
The bloodline from the time
When my bloodline devoured three continents

Live in a dream world
Come up for air
Back down I go
All my friends lost their soul
The first one to lose is the last one to know

I’m prepared, I’m preserved
Like a single serving
But I’m not ready
Even the girls are choking on their neck ties
Such a formal place
Here I go, chosen one
I fear no man
But I fear the pressure in the back of my neck
‘Cause you
Don’t want to know me when I’m angry
Don’t want to know me when I’m hungry
And I’m hungry
You try and tame the beast

Why can’t you see where I come from?
Why can’t you understand me?
Why can’t you see where I come from?
Why can’t you try and understand?
Why can’t you try to understand?
Why can’t you try to understand me?

School Days (1988 - 1991)

The current teenage incarnation of the Castillion (Manuel Atrevido del Castillo III) has to go through the pain, anger and confusion of puberty in an ancient academic institution (Harvard on steroids) to find the girl he can shape into the next Wife/Host for his father to be born from. Unfortunately for her, Manuel is a sadist… he revels in the pain and misery that his decisions cause. He is a tyrant who enjoys his power and control like a drug.

3. The Shrew

I’m so tired my love
You broke my heart last night
My brain is not
Doing the brain thing today

I’m so inspired
Making up last night
My brain can’t stop
Doing the brain thing today

You thought I could handle this
You left me here alone
I think I’m seeing red again

We can do this
Just don’t mention my childhood again
We can do this
You’ll never forget me when I’m dead

I’m calling the hotline
Can you hear the sound of the false alarm?
Typical, show me your true colors

What was I saying again?
Oh honey, what made you cry?
You can trust
That you can’t trust just who I am

Who says I am not to blame?
I should be heading to a meeting though
What am I doing here?

Can we do this?
Are you sure my doctor said we could do this
On my own?
I think I need your help again

Oh just don’t call the cops on me
Oh please don’t call the police
Oh please don’t tell my doctor this time
We can do this
(I can do this)
We can do this
We can do this
We can promise again and again

I’m so tired

Your very last friend wore me out last night
She won’t be back, they won’t be back
Your mother said I was poison
No wonder you need me so much
You’re so beautiful in this light
I’d rather see you hurt
Than lost in this world
You’ll never be ready for that

Marriage (1991 - 1995)

The Castillion finds a wife and plays her with his feigned weakness and victim mentality until he has her under his absolute control… or so he thinks.

4. That Number

The last time I was in my office
The orifice that murders softness
I found a number I could borrow
A zero that could ease my sorrow

And when I find that number lacking
I check my six and keep on stacking
You see your father in your son’s eyes
So you say, so I said it first in utter terror
And I did find that number lacking

Both of us, after so many times
We calmly stare
The glint of our father’s arrogance
In our first born’s eyes

As the future whirls by
We’ve learned our places
We still say our graces, it’s no surprise
That playing the numbers is such soft sentiment
Such cold calculation

I did find that number lacking
Why can’t you look at your own son
Straight in the eye?
Why did you find that number lacking?
We reside in the nation
That spread the way to stay on this terrible rock
This equation of souls

This quota of heads to roll
To please and appease
The beautiful beasts
That gave Saturn her place
Her beautiful grace
Alchemy knew that lead into gold could be achieved
All it took was paper and trust to make you believe
The zeroes that lack are just a fiddle to play as Rome burns
I am first in line, why take a turn?
I’m biding my time
More ashes for the urn

When I find that number lacking
I checked my six and kept on stacking
I am coming for your family
Well I did find that number lacking

Alchemy took the gold and made a paper God
Check your wallet, check your purse

See your table lose its leaves
You birthed me, but I created your lottery
Please allow me to introduce the fifth
After this… the rerun ends… stay tuned

The Business (1998)

Now married to Prina with his father reborn, we get a glimpse of what the Castillions do for a living and the worldly results of their absolute consolidation of power.

5. Too Old For This

I wish I could say I get it
But I can’t remember why I woke up today
They told me things would get better
Just to put down the fire
What a bunch of liars

I’m losing track of time
I’ll make up a new life
Over and over, over and over again
I’ll do the same thing
Over and over again
This time is different
Sometimes I trick myself
Into believing it’ll be fun again
Sometimes I trick myself
I lie to myself
They want me to believe
This is part of their plan

I’m too old for this
I was born too old for this
What did they want from me?
I’m way too old for this

I wish I could say I get it
But the older I get
The less I know
You need not know we are your reason
The wish that I made still stands
(What a mystery)
But the Powers are old and beyond my control

How it still gets to me
(I’m losing interest)
The worst time for this
(I’ll make a new life)
Over and over, over and over again
I’ll do the same thing
Over and over again
This must be different
Sometimes I trick myself
Into believing it’ll be new again
Sometimes I need an offering
One that’s unwilling
Oh
I wish I could say I get it
Oh
There’s just things that I can’t say

Each reborn fool wants this Prussian witch extinguished
I say, “Please translate that into English”
Let’s walk the halls of old
The centuries have been kind to me

Old for this
I was born too old for this
I was shown the blood, the essence
The death of innocence

So let’s try and have some fun, whatever that was
(Or is)
Come out to play little princess
They are afraid that you’ll take inches
My reach is the world
Just remember
I’m afraid for you little girl
The quiet place you have made is in my sights
Cold as ice but I’ve been there before
Never too old for the front lines
So impolite to make headlines

Rinse and Repeat (2001)

The first sign of self-doubt creeps in because of the re-run feeling of his life; no more conquests to be had, no more surprises or joy, just the complacency of absolute power.  But there is a new player in the game that no reborn saw coming. The Castillion faces his self doubt and sees a possibility to do what he loves best – destroying a worthy adversary. Some strange Siberian woman is shaking things up when that should not be possible. The game is on.

6. No Matter

I lost five of my best last night
No matter
A simple task
A quiet carnival
Became a calling card
My better half wants a solution
A calm conclusion
Something my son can have
A peaceful solution
She knows
If she sticks to my clothes
Off she goes

No matter

The only wonan to have it all
Are you not, are you not?
Is it time to consult with my little father?
His tears and rage always make it awkward

No matter

Oooh, the nostalgia
Of having a hand in taking the land
A near miss from my favorite madman
No matter
Shall we go nuclear?

Oh such a novelty
Could never ever tame the beast
But I am troubled
By a bubble
Boiling in the East
A hundred years a blip for some

Nevermore, often less
It’s time to consult with my little father
His tears and rage always make it awkward
No matter
A simple task no longer

The seeds have been sown
The weeds grow stronger
The dip in my capital is an offense
The wars we thrive on make less sense
This woman seems to have made
A claim to the throne
I can’t kill the unknown
How did I let this slip?
How did I commit the capital offense?
The market won’t bear a bull past his prime

The stone beneath the throne has lost its shine
No more zeroes, no more Antichrists
It’s like punching a wave of the tide
It doesn’t mind, a full set waits beyond
(The tide is down on me)
Who’s behind this unseen shade?
This hue of blue has never been made?
As the leaves of my table crumble
(The keys to the kingdom have betrayed me)
The battle has humbled the beast
It found a day job to support the East

Prepare for War (2003)

The first blow from this mysterious Ice Witch catches the Castillion off guard; she is actually coming for him and his kind.  It’s seemingly impossible but he can’t stop her regardless of his dominance.  It’s like punching a wave of the tide, it doesn’t mind, a new set is beyond.  His fortune and power are crumbling right before his eyes and nothing he does seems to stop it.  He feels abandoned by the very Gods he has served.

7. Best of the Worst

Oh no
Oh yes
Here we go again
Oh, the copper taste

Sick…sick…sick games

Here’s the church
Here’s the steeple
Open the doors
See all of the people

Oh no
My son’s in the safe room
With my ill-gotten gains
My betrothed has taken a plane
My daughters are slaughtered
The others are scattered

The pitter patter of little feet
Never mattered much to me
Six hundred and three score and six to me
The little horn made a crucifix for me
Oh what a shame

I am, I am, I am lost

Here she comes again
Fashion from Paris
Gold from Rome

My woman has killed the heir to the throne
Patted our heads, put us to bed
Her sister, she said
I’m lost, I’m lost
What is this?
What is this?

Oh no
Oh yes
Here we go again
Oh the copper taste
Best of the worst
Thing in the universe
Best of the worst

Here she comes again
Fashion from Paris
Gold from Rome

Oh yes (x4)
Oh no, not again
The copper taste
The best of the worst thing in the universe
Oh no, not again
Here we go again with the sick, sick games

Oh no
Oh yes
Here we go again
Oh the copper taste

Sick…sick…games

Six hundred three score and six to me
The little horn made a crucifix bleed
I am, I am lost
What is this?
What is this?
The copper taste
Best of the worst
Thing in the universe

Let the Battle Begin (2006)

Absolute destruction of everything the Castillion has built. He is as good as dead until his wife Prina slips off and kills her own heretic sister, Corvina.  The wives formed a counter cabal centuries ago (Coven of Shiva) when they figured out what these eternal reborn men were doing. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. The Coven had a plan for an A.I.-driven system of control.  Their global peace plan erased the nasty pest of free will is abandoned in favor of the beehive mentality. Corvina refused to wait, and went to war with the reborns becoming infected with the same lust for power that the Castillions and their ilk have. The “copper taste” is blood. And blood is the secret spiritual capital of the unseen realm… the residence of Powers and Principalities of the Gods, demons, and entities that we live among.

8. Third Hand

The art to seduce
The skill to kill
The girls we claimed were not by chance
Long before the first blows
Long before the world wars

Their plan was laid long before I made my first meal
Of the one who said no to my deal
They’ve awakened and hastened the pace
To replace our Gods
With a stainless steel singularity as we rust
But I sense a sliver of trust in her eye

Well I’ll be damned
If the vision they have stands
Yes ma’am
That’s so wise my dear
Yes ma’am

They told her we all need to die
But she hasn’t got the stomach for parricide
She stood by our son with a gun to his head
Like she stood by my side for decades gone by
But I sense that glimmer of love in her eye
Yes ma’am, so wise my dear
But if I may, did they say that we must surely die?
For the Serpent’s sin was just one of pride
Perhaps, my love
It’s for you to decide?

Now the rest are dead
We are cast aside
Cast adrift, cast away
The ocean our pasture to die
Well kept on the waves

Cast Adrift (2010)

The Castillion and his son now understand that they are considered a liability for the new found “utopia;” a world bound to be even worse than the hellish, free will world that they once controlled. To survive, they must convince Prina Mengele to release them; let them live one last time on a well-guarded boat and die at sea. Their word is as good as their bond.  Then again, the Castillions are the best of the worst.

9. The Black Rite

A prison is defined
By the life that it takes
The prisoner’s mind
Defines what bars it makes
I’m confined to this body
I’m ready for my time

We swore allegiance
To this new age of peace
Commit no Black Rite
Just let us die on the seas
It’s the least we could do
Quite literally
Feelings serve a purpose
Like bars on a window

A loving innuendo
It’s time for me to go in utero
The ancients are dying of thirst
We Castillions are the best of the worst
Across the ocean they wait for me
But I’ll be a speck of blood on my son’s chin by then

He’s an oak with a shank and a plan
Untold between us since we began

Let’s get on with the slicing and dicing
His priestess awaits
The throng awakes
They’ve only seen a hint of how far we went

Oh no, there goes another one
Popped like a pimple, a simpleton
I bare my chest
God, it’s time to rest

Set the sails, I was always the second one
Just the son

Death needs time
For what it kills to grow in
Death needs time
For what it kills to grow in

And I think it’s amusing
That I hope to die sad
‘Cause if I die happy
Then the more I had to live for
Yeah, the more I had to live for

Death needs time
For what it kills to grow in
Death needs time
For what it kills to grow in

And I think it’s amusing
That I hope to die sad
‘Cause if I die happy
Then I had more to live for
I had more to live for (x5)
I had more

The Changing of the Guard (2011 - 2025)

The original Castillion has become a man and the age of The Black Rite is approaching. The Castillions call upon the secret alliance they made centuries ago with the Aztecs. They slaughter the guards on their ship and sail South where the Castillion’s next wife and a secret army lay in wait. While crossing the sea, the original Castillion takes control by performing the Black Rite, killing his father and consuming his heart. Death needs time for what it kills to grow in.

10. The Castillion

The ritual begins
The spell takes hold again
The sea parts
My son’s heart
Split like an atom
This eve I’ll make amends
The secret we show
Is the devil you know
The sense of the unknown
You see yourself in the eyes of everyone

The blood, it’s always been the blood
To cleanse with the flood
The blood

The Adversary put off for another day
Make your offering of pain
It’s us, it’s enough
Our daily bread, our suffering is the cost
To be lost is the cost of finding
That the final price of love is binding
To your past, your future unwinding
As a master I’m kind, as a slave not so much
The in between is the very thing the slave cannot touch

I love that I AM
We all live again
In utter terror
Love is the lion’s share

Again
It’s always the end
Only to begin in fear
Again, and again
It’s always the end
Only to begin in fear
Again, and again
(It’s like punching a wave from the tide)
Again
‘Cause death is always near
(Only to begin)
Punching a wave from the tide
In fear, again
(Only to begin in fear again)
It’s like punching a wave from the tide
(It’s always near)
Death is always near
Death is always near
Again
(Only to begin in fear)
It’s like punching a wave from the tide
Only to begin in fear again

Epilogue (2026)

The Castillions are nothing more than the product of human nature and are ultimately the devil we know. They know that we are all reborns stuck in this cycle of pain, suffering, and love that is the essence of life. The only difference is that The Castillions retain their consciousness from one life to the next.
